Selkirk & District Planning Area Board


	Introduction The Selkirk and District Planning Area board consists of approximately 1,580 sq.km (680 sq.miles) and covers an area from the northern boundary of Winnipeg to the southern basin of Lake Winnipeg. Population is in excess of 32,000. "The Zoning By-law" offers a step-by-step approach to making zoning decisions. It is hoped that the information presented on the following pages, in combination with advice extended through professional planners, will result in better and more comprehensive zoning decisions. And well thought out and well researched decisions cannot help but result in more attractive, affordable, safer and healthier communities.
