The Planning District Development Plan is the basis for the Municipal Secondary Plans and Zoning By-Laws. This section explains the authority by which our Planning District is given the authority to implement a Development Plan; the purpose of the Development Plan; and the current and proposed Development Plan for our District.
Secondary Plans are prepared to define policy programs and initiatives for Development Plan implementation. Several Secondary Plans for the Planning District's Municipalities are currently under various stages of progress.

This section provides information on zoning, including each municipality's zoning by-law, certification requirements for zoning memorandums, zoning letters, zoning compliance certificates, work order letters and information pertaining to business licences, zoning variations and conditional uses.
This section deals with all building/development permit applications, including dwellings, additions to dwellings, detached accessory buildings, pools, ponds and hot-tubs, excavations, fill placement and other buildings, structures or developments requiring permits.
This section deals with development permit applications along or within proximity of shorelines, including the Red River, its tributaries, marshes and delta system, and of Lake Winnipeg.
